Our certificates and associations
Abaeté's efforts regarding aircraft safety and procedures are reinforced by prestigious certifications.
Admission to ABEAR (Brazilian Association of Airlines)
Since 2020 we have been part of ABEAR, an entity composed of the main airlines in Brazil. The main objective of the Association is to promote the growth of civil aviation in our country, and for that it develops strategies, programs and actions that connect the interests of companies, the public sector, class entities and consumers in general.
Membership in ALTA (Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association)
In 2021, we also became a member company of ALTA, a private, non-profit association that brings together over 45 companies in the in the aviation sector, around common objectives, such as improving the safety and efficiency of operations, in addition to development of solutions to reduce the environmental impact and maxize the positive socioeconomic effects of aviation.
ISSA certificate (IATA Standard Safety Assessment)
In 2021, we were assessed and certified for meeting 100% of the safety standards and protocols set by IATA, the International Air Transport Association. We were the first company in the Northeast to receive this certification, placing us on par with internationally recognized airlines. In 2022, we achieved recertification with ISSA.
Highly skilled and trained professionals
We have a team of highly specialized and trained professionals to carry out the preventive actions that every flight requires. The vast experience of these professionals also makes them capable of evaluating unusual situations and making decisions quickly and efficiently to ensure that a trip is carried out safely . Ongoing training is part of the set of measures that Abaeté adopts, always thinking about the physical integrity and well-being of everyone on board.
Safe planes
The aircraft used by Abaeté have internationally recognized safety. The Cessna Caravan model, for instance, which is used in our airline service, has been nicknamed the 'tractor of the skies' in the aviation community. It is an aircraft that has been building its credibility for four decades. It is a robust, efficient small plane, used in over 100 countries, including by authorities, which demonstrates the safety of this single-engine aircraft. In addition to having a fleet composed of internationally recognized models, we continually update the internal components of our aircraft, seeking the best in quality.
