Abaeté Airlines
Abaeté is the Brazilian airline that has operated the longest in the country. Headquartered in Salvador, we put together a portfolio of services that guarantees a leadership position in the Northeast, being a reference in air transport. We were born with the aim of taking air service to locations that were not served by commercial aviation.
In December 2021, we launched schedule flights to two major tourist destinations in Bahia, which are among the most sought after during the Brazilian summer: the Maraú Peninsula and Morro de São Paulo on Tinharé Island.
And in November XNUMX, we started operations to Boipeba, also located on the Bahian coast and part of the Tinharé archipelago, attracting tourists from around the world.
The schedule flights represent a significant step for regional aviation, further promoting these three strong destinations that are already favorites among national and international tourists. Departing from Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport in Salvador, the flight to Morro de São Paulo takes 22 minutes, the flight to the Maraú Peninsula lasts 30 minutes, and the flight to Boipeba is 25 minutes long. In addition to the schedule flights, we offer a portfolio of services that further strengthens our leadership in the Northeast.

In 2020, we became a member of ABEAR (Brazilian Association of Airlines), and in April 2021, we received the ISSA certification (IATA Standard Safety Assessment ), becoming the first company in the Northeast to obtain this international seal. In 2022, we achieved this certification again, which attests to our high standards of operational safety, aligning our company with international civil aviation regulations.
Also in 2021, we became a member of the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA), which has added enormous value to the company's development.
