How can I buy a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased through our website voeabaete.com.br.
I need to cancel my booking; how long can i use my ticket?
There is the option of leaving credit for your ticket in the deposit account in accordance with the rules of the purchased fare, except for the fare SUPERPROMO, and this credit can be used for up to 1 year from the date of ticket issuance.
What is No Show?
Occurs when the passenger does not appear at the boarding point within the period previously stipulated by the airline. In these cases, the conditions informed in the fares rules apply.
How do I change my flight or the date of my ticket?
Our fares allow changes in dates and destinations and it is possible to make changes in the search for reservations section on the website. But be aware: depending on the tariff chosen at the time of purchase, administrative fees and fines may apply for changes. Change, cancellation, no-show and refund fees are charged per customer per segment.
After purchasing the ticket, can I change the name of the passenger?
The travel ticket is personal and non-transferable, intended exclusively for the transport of the passenger indicated on it.
Where is our check-in counter located?
At the International Airport of Salvador, our service counter is located on the first floor, along with the other airlines.
Em Morro de São Paulo service is provided on Terceira Praia, at the airport located at Pousada Caeira.
In Barra Grande we stayed at the airport next to the old Hotel Kiaroa.
In Boipeba, our check-in is done at the service desk at Fazenda Pontal Aerodrome.
How can I do my check-in?
Check-in takes place at the service counter at the airports. For this, the passenger must have the reservation code (locator) and a valid identification document with a photo.
How long before the flight do I need to arrive at the airport?
Check-in opens 2 hours in advance and closes 40 minutes before flight time. After this period, there is no possibility of boarding and depending on the rules of your fare, it will be considered a no-show. Check your fare rules.
How does travel for unaccompanied minors work?
Boarding an unaccompanied minor is permitted as long as the minor has 16 years old, to do so you must have an original document with a photo valid throughout the country. Boarding for unaccompanied minors under the age of 16 is not permitted on our flights, depending on the characteristics of the aircraft.
What is the fare for babies and children?
Infants up to 1 year and 11 months old pay 10% of the adult fare and must travel on the lap of a guardian over 18 years old. Only one infant per adult passenger is allowed. Children from 2 to 12 years of age pay 75% of the adult fare and must also travel accompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age.
How do I book seats?
It is not possible to reserve seats.
Which aircraft are available for the airline?
The aircraft used by airline in Abaeté is the Cessna Caravan, which has capacity for up to 9 passengers. This aircraft does not have a toilet on board. This aircraft does not have a toilet on board.
What items are prohibited on the flight?
- alarm devices;
- explosives including empty cartridges, ammunition, pyrotechnic material, hunting weapons, portable weapons and fireworks;
- gases (flammable, non-flammable and poisonous), such as butane, oxygen, propane and oxygen cylinders;
- flammable liquids used as fuel for lighters, heating or other applications;
- flammable solids, such as matches and easily ignited articles;
- spontaneous combustion substance;
- substance that, in contact with water, emits flammable gases;
- oxidizing materials such as lime powder, chemical bleaches and peroxides;
- poisonous (toxic) and infectious substances, such as arsenic, cyanides, insecticides and defoliants;
- radioactive materials;
- corrosive materials, such as mercury, acids, alkaloids and batteries with corrosive liquid;
- magnetic materials;
- biological agents, such as bacteria and viruses.
How many baggage can I take with me?
Passengers may take a personal item weighing up to 5 kg on board, as long as it does not exceed 20 cm in depth, 35 cm in width and 45 cm in height.
Each passenger can check 1 piece of up to 23kg in both fares.
We may refuse the dispatch of baggage, due to its weight, size or type, such as: bulky musical instruments, speakers and other goods that cannot be transported on the aircraft.
I had a problem with my baggage, what should I do?
If you identify the problem during disembarkation, we ask you to contact our ground team who will deal with it. If the problem is observed later, we ask that you contact our Call Center at 4020-9888, within a maximum period of 7 days after the flight.
Transportation of alcoholic beverages
in hand baggage, alcoholic beverages are considered a dangerous article. The boarding of up to 5 liters of alcoholic beverages per passenger is allowed, but the alcohol content of the beverage must be between 24% and 70% in each bottle. In addition, a maximum of one liter per volume is allowed, that is, each transported bottle cannot have more than one liter each. All drinks transported must be industrialized and sealed by the supplier, and bottles with broken seals are not allowed.
in checked baggage, beverages with an alcohol content of less than 24% do not have quantity restrictions, but this transport must respect the allowance of checked baggage and be properly packaged. As for drinks with an alcohol content between 24% and 70%, they obey the same rule for transporting drinks in hand baggage: up to 5 liters per passenger are allowed. Drinks with an alcohol content of more than 70% are prohibited. In order to be able to dispatch these volumes, it is necessary to use adequate packaging, placing the bottles in two retention bags (which are impermeable in case of breakage of the packaging) such as bubble wrap, for example.
What are the forms of payment?
Airfare payment can be made with credit cards and divided into up to 4 interest-free installments and PIX.
Where can I travel with Abaeté Airlines?
At the moment, our Linha Aérea flights have 4 places as their origin and destination: Salvador, Morro de São Paulo, Boipeba and Península de Maraú.

I use a wheelchair and need to take it with me on the flight. What should I do?
Customers with wheelchairs who need special equipment for ascent and descent will not be allowed to board due to the size of the aircraft. If the passenger is able to climb the stairs without difficulty, the wheelchair can be checked in closed and folded and will be placed in the luggage compartment of the aircraft as a piece of baggage of up to 23kg. If you are checking in one piece of baggage + the wheelchair, an additional extra baggage fee will be charged.
Can people with reduced mobility board?
For passengers with limited mobility, we provide assistance and a wheelchair from check-in to the aircraft. Access to the aircraft does not include special ascent and descent equipment.
Can I take my PET, Guide Dog and Emotional Support Animals with me in the cabin?
For safety reasons, our aircraft model does not allow the transport of animals, considering the dimensions of the aircraft, based on article 6, paragraph 1, of Resolution 280 of the ANAC, even if it is accommodated in an appropriate location.
Medical Authorization (MEDIF)
If an Abaeté Linhas Aéreas passenger has any specific health condition, it is mandatory for the passenger's doctor to fill out the medical information form (MEDIF – Medical Information Form) as provided in the article 9 of ANAC Resolution nº 280 of 2013.
Below are some examples of this possible health condition:
· Has had recent surgery;
· Suffer from a disability or illness that causes harm to your health and well-being or even that of other passengers and crew;
· You have a health condition considered unstable;
The MEDIF form is available for download:
We suggest that it be completed and signed by the passenger's personal doctor before purchasing the ticket, thus avoiding future setbacks.
Note: The MEDIF form – must contain the doctor’s signature and CRM.
This form must be sent to Abaeté Linhas Aéreas up to 05 days before the flight via email base.ssa@voeabaete.com.br
The MEDIF will be evaluated by an Abaeté medical professional specialized in aviation medicine, with a response time of 48 hours via email.
If the minimum medical safety requirements are not met, the passenger will be refused transportation, as provided in §1 of article 6 of the aforementioned Resolution.
ATTENTION: Abaeté Linhas Aéreas, on its regular flights, does not transport passengers who require the use of medicinal oxygen (portable cylinders of liquid or pressurized oxygen) and/or stretchers for operational safety reasons.
FREMEC (Frequent Traveler Medical Card)
FREMEC (Frequent Traveler Medical Card) is a document whose purpose is to make life easier for frequent passengers who have special medical conditions of a permanent, non-serious and stable nature, such as:
- Visual impairment
– Mobility disability
- Hearing deficiency
– Intellectual, mental and/or psychosocial disability
The FREMEC card will be available to passengers with a validity of 01 year. With it, it is no longer necessary to present a medical certificate when traveling; simply present the document at check-in, ensuring speed and privacy.
Registration is only permitted for people with chronic and stable conditions. We also emphasize that the FREMEC is not issued to children under 2 (two) years of age.
In order for the Abaeté medical team to analyze all the information, with the aim of guaranteeing the passenger's safety, it is necessary to send a FREMEC form.
The FREMEC form must be completed by the attending physician, with a medical report or complementary report, which must be issued on the same date as the FREMEC, by the same physician who completed the FREMEC, as well as stating the diagnosis of the disease, the ICD code, status clinical and possible morbidities.
Passengers who are not eligible for FREMEC are not denied boarding, and must therefore proceed with sending the MEDIF form (following the deadline for analysis after the new submission).
The FREMEC must be sent to Abaeté Linhas Aéreas via email base.ssa@voeabaete.com.br, up to 05 (five) business days before the flight.
The FREMEC will be evaluated by a medical professional from Abaeté specialized in aviation medicine, with a response time of 48 hours via email.
If approved, you will receive an email containing a document with your FREMEC number and you can use it to book your ticket.
If the minimum medical safety requirements are not met, the passenger will be refused transportation, as provided for in §1 of article 6, in ANAC Resolution 280.
IMPORTANT – Passengers holding FREMEC must inform Abaeté immediately whenever I condition ithereométip change or worsen.
ATTENTION: Abaeté Linhas Aéreas, on its regular flights, does not transport passengers who require the use of medicinal oxygen (portable liquid or pressurized oxygen cylinders), guide dogs, and/or stretchers, for operational safety reasons.
With the aim of valuing the financial security of the passenger and welfare of the passenger, given the characteristics of our operation, we don't carry out the transport of pregnant women over 32 weeks, or multiple pregnancies over 30 weeks.
Only passengers who have authorization for transport issued by the Federal Police, in accordance with the requirements of the ANAC Resolution No. 461/2018. This document must be presented at check-in.
For flights to Salvador, the passenger must present themselves at check-in with their weapons already removed and the ammunition segregated from the firearms.
For passengers who comply with the rules mentioned above, they will be accepted up to 5kg of ammunition dispatched.
